1. Who we are (the controller)

Contact for any privacy question: info@animationsfast.com
We are established in the European Union, so the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to everything we do with personal data, wherever you are located. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer because we are not required to.
2. What we collect and why
| Situation | Data | Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR) | How long we keep it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| You fill in the contact or brief form | Name, email, company, your message and any files or links you send | To reply and prepare a quote | Steps at your request before entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) | 24 months after our last contact, unless a project follows |
| You agree to receive offers (checkbox in the form) | Name, email, company | To send you offers and news about our services by email | Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) | Until you withdraw consent or unsubscribe. After that we keep only your email on a suppression list so we never send you offers again |
| You become a client | Contact details, billing details, project communication, deliverables | To deliver the work, invoice, and keep accounting records | Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)); legal obligation for invoices (Art. 6(1)(c)) | Project files: 3 years after delivery. Invoices: 10 years (Czech accounting and tax law) |
| We contacted you first (business outreach) | Your name, work email, job title, company, and public professional information (company website, public social profiles) | To introduce our services to you in your professional role | Our legitimate interest in offering B2B services (Art. 6(1)(f)) | Until you ask us to stop, or 12 months without a reply. If you opt out, we keep only your email on a suppression list so we never contact you again |
| You visit the website | Technical data processed by our hosting provider: IP address, browser type, pages requested, time | To deliver the website securely and prevent abuse | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) | Server logs: up to 30 days |
We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects. We do not knowingly collect data from children; our services are for businesses only.
Providing your details in the form is voluntary, but without an email address we cannot reply.
2a. Email offers and how to stop them
The contact form asks for two confirmations: that you have read this policy and agree to us processing your data to handle your enquiry, and that you agree to receive offers from AnimationsFast by email.
If you agree to receive offers, we may occasionally email you about our services, prices and new formats. Every offer email has an unsubscribe link. You can also withdraw your consent at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or writing to info@animationsfast.com. Withdrawing is free, we act on it within 2 business days at the latest, and it does not affect our reply to your enquiry, any quote or any project. It also does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew.
We keep your consent record (what you agreed to and when) for as long as we send you offers and for up to 3 years after you withdraw, so we can prove it if asked.
3. Where the data about prospects comes from
If we contacted you first, we found your work contact details in publicly available professional sources, such as your company website, LinkedIn, X, public business directories, or press releases. We only use data about you in your professional capacity. Each outreach email links to this policy and tells you how to opt out.
4. Who receives the data (processors)
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements:
| Provider | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Website hosting and security | USA |
| Google Workspace | USA | |
| Google Drive | Sharing project files | USA |
| Our accountant | Bookkeeping and tax | Czech Republic |
We may also disclose data where required by law (for example to tax authorities or courts).
5. Transfers outside the EU
Some providers are based in the United States. Where they are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, transfers rely on the European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023. Otherwise we rely on the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for a copy of the relevant safeguards at info@animationsfast.com.
6. Cookies and tracking
Our website does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, session recording, or third-party embeds. Videos and fonts are hosted by us. Because we do not use non-essential cookies, we do not show a cookie banner.
Do Not Track. Our website does not track visitors across third-party websites and does not allow third parties to do so, so it responds the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal or a Global Privacy Control signal.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- object at any time to processing based on legitimate interest, including direct marketing. If you object to marketing, we stop immediately;
- withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent (such as email offers), without affecting earlier processing. The quickest way is the unsubscribe link in any offer email.
To use any of these rights, email info@animationsfast.com. We reply within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Our lead authority is the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, Czech Republic, www.uoou.gov.cz. You may also complain to the authority in your own country.
California residents. You can review and request correction of the personal data you submitted to us by emailing info@animationsfast.com. We do not sell or share personal information as defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act.
UK residents. You have equivalent rights under the UK GDPR and may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), two-factor authentication on our accounts, access limited to the people who need it, and providers with recognized security practices. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. If a change materially affects how we use data you already gave us, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
